Just in case it doesn't, please contact us and we will be happy to give you the answers you seek. Printing Processes What type of printing process is used? All products are printed using the "four color" or "CMYK" printing process. The four color process is an industry standard whose results can be seen at any news or magazine stand. During this procedure, small dots of Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y), and Black (K) are printed on the paper in a precise fashion forming a full spectrum of colors. By operating exclusively on the Internet, we can use our volume to provide photo-realistic commercial printing at discounted prices. Can I print using RGB mode file? Yes, you can print. However, there is some disadvantage. The color might be varies. We will convert your file to CMYK mode when printing. What is full bleed? Full bleed means the ink runs to the very edge of the paper. No printer is actually full bleed, so during printing process the excess paper is trimmed off resulting in the “full bleed” professional look. In order to print “full bleed” the ink coverage must exceed the final print dimensions. Artwork Design What file format do you accept? We accept Adobe Illustrator file, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, PDF and for other file formats, pls contact us for more details. Will my fonts missing when printing? Make sure you outline your file or send us the font type source when sending the artwork to us. Can I ftp my files? Yes, ensure that you have register as a member and you can send files to us via the links provided........................ Can I use images from Internet for printing? Images from the Internet or web sites are generally 72 dpi and in a GIF or JPEG format. These files usually do not provide a good quality image for printing. Color and resolution are removed from these images to allow for rapid transfer on the Internet. These images would appear fuzzy and dull . What should I know about image resolutions? Image resolution or bitmap image, like those made with Photoshop, should be set at 300 dpi. Enlarging an image will lower the resolution while reducing an image will increase the resolution. Enlarging an image in a layout programs is not recommended. Images less than 300 dpi could reproduce poorly looking fuzzy or pixilated. Images from the Internet are not recommended as most images on the web are 72 dpi and will appear fuzzy or pixilated. An unfavorable image cannot be resaved as a different type of file. For example, you cannot place a gif file in Photoshop and resave it as and EPS format. This does not change the compatibility of the file. If you have to use low resolution images, we will print only after you consent to the quality. Enquiries How do I send enquiries? How long will you feedback on my enquiries? Allow us for 24-48 hours for us to feedback you. Order What is your turnaround time to complete the printing job? Depending on when do you send the file, what product you need to print, quantity and what type of finishing require. Normally for normal printing like flyers printing, newsletters printing, posters printing, etc, our lead time is around 3-5 working days. For printing items which require few finishing, allow us 7-10 days time, subject to many factors. What if my order is urgent, and can you rush for us? Depending on our production, most of the time we are able to rush for your. Just let us know your dateline and at Asia Printmart, we strive to achieve and meet your requirements. How do I order? Send us an inquiry and we will send you the quotation. Issue us a PO or chop and sign our quotation, send us your artwork and we shall proceed your job. What if I need to cancel order? If you need to cancel you order, contact us and we will determine how much production has already been completed up to that point and the charges incurred. How do I send files to you? You can either burn into a CD and send to us / Send us the files via email / Send through FTP in your member account. Can you quarantee that my color output same as my sample? It is known in the printing industry that printer cannot guarantee that they can match your required colors 100%. Even from one commecial printing firm to another, there can be differences in the outputs. If you require a better match color, you can send us the digital proof. Will my output color same as my laser printer output or in my monitor? There is not possible to achieve 100% color quality as in your laser printing and monitor. Pc monitor is using RGB mode whereelse our printing is in CMYK mode. Color displayed on your computer monitor is created by projected or additive light. Therefore there is no guarantee that the finished products are exactly matching your laser printing, monitor, or digital print outs.
